Protesting UPSC aspirants get NSUI support
New Delhi, July 26 (ANI): The National Students Union of India (NSUI) today staged a protest at Jantar Mantar in New Delhi in support of the UPSC candidates who are opposing CSAT in their exams. Kathmandu, July 26 (IANS) The third meeting of the Nepal-India Joint Commission at the foreign minstry-level started here Saturday after a hiatus of 23 years. Indian External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj, who arrived in Kathmandu Friday evening, jointly inaugurated the meeting with her Nepali counterpart, Mahendra Bahadur Pandey. Syed Akbaruddin, spokesman of the Indian external affirs ministry, said that the two sides were working to establish an Eminent Persons Group (EPG) to look into the potential of growth in bilateral relations. The meeting will also focus on the line of credit from India’s EXIM Bank, cooperation in agricultural development, mid-hill highway in the eastern sector, including Sikkim link near Chiyo Bhanjyang, widening of East-West Highway, construction of a bridge over Mahakali river at Mahendranagar, a suspension bridge at Dadeldhura, postal highway and feeder roads, the first and second phases of a rail rail, rolling stock for railways, a and a cricket stadium in Pokhara.

‘Shaukeen’ remake re-titled ‘The Shaukeens’
We earlier reported about the remake of Basu Chatterjee‘s cult classic ‘Shaukeen‘ to illumine the silver screens on November 7. Going by the news update, the remake of ‘Shaukeen‘ is now re-titled ‘The Shaukeens‘.
‘The Shaukeens’ features Akshay Kumar, Lisa Haydon, Anupam Kher, Paresh Rawal and Annu Kapoor. A source revealed that albeit, it’s a remake, the story has been given a twist suitable to modern times. The original ‘Shaukeen‘ starred Ashok Kumar, Utpal Dutt, Rati Agnihotri, A. K. Hangal and Mithun Chakraborty. The shooting of the flick has begun recently. ‘The Shaukeens‘ is helmed by Abhishek Sharma.
Aamir Khan’s ‘Peekay’ changes title to ‘P.K.’
The superstar Aamir Khan is known as Mr. Perfectionist in Bollywood and he is always loved for his unique roles and unparalleled performance on the celluloid. This time also, Aamir is planning to do something special. He has teamed up with the producer-director Rajkumar Hirani for his upcoming film ‘Peekay’.
Going by the news update, the film ‘Peekay’ is now re-titled ‘P.K.‘, as the earlier title was giving a hint of the story plot of the flick and the new name seems to be the initials of a person’s name. The film is said to be about drunkard. Now the movie has raised the curiosity of the viewers about the storyline and Aamir’s character in the film, as it has changed its title. As usual, Aamir likes to keep the audience guessing about his film by maintaining the suspense factor intact!
Aamir worked with Hirani before in ‘3 Idiots‘ and is now expected to create same magic with ‘P.K.‘ The movie also features Anushka Sharma, Sushant Singh Rajput and a cameo by Sanjay Dutt. The flick hits the screens on December 19 this year.
