Ranbir Kapoor to essay Hockey champ Dhyan Chand?

One more biopic will be knocking the doors of Bollywood soon. This will be based on the life of hockey star Dhyan Chand. The grapevine tweeted that the handsome hunk Ranbir Kapoor will play the role of Dhyan Chand in this biopic.

The film will be produced by Pooja Shetty, while the script is being penned down by Ila Bedi Datta. Prior to this, Ila wrote ‘Agneepath‘. If the reports are to be believed, Shah Rukh Khan was the first choice of the makers. Ila’s brother Rajat Bedi stated that Ila will be finishing the script soon and the flick will hit the floors shortly. He also added that Ranbir is being considered to play the lead role.

It seems hockey is seeing golden days in India, as ‘Chak De India‘, the flick based on hockey garnered immense success and now, this will be the second film spinning around the game of hockey.

Yo Yo Honey Singh to compose rap version of ‘Aata Majhi Satakli’ in ‘Singham Returns’

The rapper Yo Yo Honey Singh conquered the hearts of millions with his unique rap singing and impressive style quotient. After working with Bollywood biggies like Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan, the funky rapper is all set to groove in the upcoming film of action-star Ajay Devgn, ‘Singham Returns‘.

The latest news update revealed that Yo Yo Honey Singh will come up with a rap version of the very famous dialogue “Aata Majhi Satakli” as a promotional song in the forthcoming action-drama ‘Singham Returns‘. Prior to this, the rapper Singh rapped for Ajay Devgn‘s film ‘Son Of Sardaar‘. The rap version of “Aata Majhi Satakli” is said to be a very stylish music video and will feature around 100 children. The shooting of this song is anticipated to be done in three days at the 2-storey set erected in Filmistan, Goregaon, as per the report. Ganesh Acharya will be doing choreography for this song.

Yo Yo Honey Singh‘s association with the director Rohit Shetty is fabulous and the super-duper hit song “Lungi Dance” from the blockbuster ‘Chennai Express‘ is the evidence for it. Well, no doubt Yo Yo will once again set the stage on fire with “Aata Majhi Satakli”!

Sushma Swaraj in Kathmandu, says Nepal high priority

Kathmandu, July 25 (IANS) Indian External Affairs Minister Sushma Sawarj arrived in Kathmandu Friday evening on a three-day official visit during which she will co-chair the third meeting of the Nepal-India Joint Commission. She is the first high-level foreign official to visit Nepal after the second Constituent Assembly elections held in this Himalayan nation in November last year. “I am here two months after the formation of a new government in India,” Sushma Swaraj said in a brief statement on her arrival at Tribhuvan international Airport. “I am here to participate in the joint commission meeting,” she said speaking in Hindi, adding that the new government in India has accorded its relations with Nepal high priority.
