Zee Cinema, India’s No. 1 Hindi movie channel aims to offer something special to its discerning viewers this Independence Day with the World Television Premier of the action-thriller movie ‘Holiday: A Soldier is never off Duty‘. This Friday, August 15, 2014 at 12 noon, Zee Cinema will air Akshay Kumar’s latest blockbuster film which grossed the box office with approximately 145 crores globally.
Director Kunal Deshmukh along with actors Emraan Hashmi and Humaima Malick unveiled the fourth song “Flip your collar” from their forthcoming film “Raja Natwarlal” here Wednesday, and said it will be the “Lungi dance” of 2014.
The song is choreographed by Remo D’Souza and Deshmukh was clear he wanted a number that matched up to the popularity and craze that Shah Rukh Khan’s “Lungi dance” from “Chennai Express” generated.
Actress Gwyneth Paltrow is reportedly dating “Glee” co-creator and executive producer Brad Falchuk.

New Delhi, Aug. 14 (ANI): The Insurance Bill has been sent to the Select Committee of the Rajya Sabha after the government was unable to garner the support of the opposition. The bill proposes to hike foreign direct investment in the insurance sector to 49 percent from 26 percent. CPI (M) leader Sitaram Yechury expressed satisfaction over the move. “I am glad the bill has been sent to the select committee, where it will be debated on very seriously.” He also added “When (senior BJP leader) Yashwant Sinha was the Finance Minister, he examined the bill and rejected it.

New Delhi, Aug 14 (ANI): The Women’s Reservation Bill has lapsed after the bill, which was passed in the Rajya Sabha on March 9, 2010 and was sent for the approval of the Lok Sabha, was never taken up in the Lower House. Calling it “unfortunate”, Congress leader Manish Tewari told ANI, “It is unfortunate that it lapsed. Every attempt must be made to give Indian women their due in the system.” CPI leader Atul Kumar Anjan told ANI, “More than 10 years have passed since the bill was presented but it has still not been passed. The bill was envisaged first by CPI leader Geeta Mukherjee but since she passed away (in 2000), both the Congress and the BJP have been in power and both have talked about it, yet it has not been passed in the parliament.” Speaking to ANI, Congress leader Shobha Oza said, “We did not have the majority in the Lok Sabha to be able to pass it.
