Check out: The exclusive posters of ‘Happy New Year’

Going by its intensity in making news, ‘Happy New Year‘ seems unstoppable. After releasing the solo posters of each and every star, today the makers are unveiling three exclusive posters having the entire cast in a glance.

First poster visualizes Shah Rukh Khan standing tall in the centre, while his team of leading Lady Deepika Padukone, macho actors Abhishek Bachchan, Sonu Sood, Boman Irani and Vivaan Shah are posing around him dressed are dazzling dancers at the backdrop of glittery lighted stage. While, the second poster is set in the soberly blue backdrop of some restricted area with the entire team has worn classic black outfits in the escaping pose of burglars. Third poster is wide enough to fit these diverging personas of dancers and burglar together.

Apart from this, things that are common in all the three posters are- a beautifully lighted mansion, a huge sea and the tagline- “Iss Diwali… Todenge Taale… Indiawaale…”

Twitter premieres Michael Jackson's new video

If you are a die-hard fan of later singer Michael Jackson, do not miss a new video that was released on microblogging site Twitter Thursday.

His Twitter account released a short film titled “A Place With No Home” as one of the first music videos to premiere on the social platform.

The video is available for Twitter users exclusively for 12 hours, starting 8.30 a.m. Thursday morning.

New poster of 'PK' won't even have transistor, says Aamir Khan

The second poster of Aamir Khan’s “PK” will come out Aug 20 and he says in that, he’s not even holding a boombox, which hid his modesty in the first poster that received flak for the actor’s naked look.

In the first look poster of the film, Aamir posed nude with a strategically placed boombox. While some appreciated the dare bare act, some criticised it and even called it a “publicity stunt”.

By Minami Funakoshi TOKYO (Reuters) – Hello Kitty, Japan’s ambassador of cute, is on a government-funded mission to space. The project to launch Sanrio Co Ltd’s white cat with a pink bow into orbit is part of Prime Minister Shinzo Abe’s push to promote Japan’s high-tech industry and engineer economic growth. A 4-cm (1.6-inch) tall Hello Kitty figure is aboard the Hodoyoshi-3 satellite, looking through a window at Earth, Sanrio announced this week. The goal of the project is to get more private companies interested in working with satellites, said Toshiki Tanaka, researcher in charge of the project at the University of Tokyo’s Nano-Satellite Center.

Government suffers setback as opposition baulks at insurance reform bill

Plans by the new government to open the insurance sector to more foreign investment suffered a setback on Thursday after the opposition blocked the legislation in the upper house. The landmark bill to liberalise the insurance industry, which marks Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s first stab at legislative reforms, will now go to a parliamentary committee, which will submit a report later this year. The bill proposes to increase the limit on foreign investment in insurance ventures to 49 percent from the current 26 percent. Modi took office in May vowing to restore economic momentum and end years of policy paralysis, but the Congress-led opposition which has a majority in the Rajya Sabha demanded that a parliamentary panel examine the bill, saying there was no hurry to approve the measure in the current session which ends on Thursday.
