Rajnath sings paeans about Amit Shah at BJP national council meeting

New Delhi, Aug. 9 (ANI): Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh lavishly praised new Bharatiya Janata Party president Amit Shah on Saturday for his huge contribution in facilitating the party’s victory in the 2014 general elections. Virtually certifying Shah as the most suitable person for the post, Singh said at a national council meet held here that some people had initially wondered why Shah had been appointed as BJP chief. The home minister said that when he was looking for someone to lead the party in the 2014 Lok Sabha election in Uttar Pradesh, he found Shah to be an appropriate choice, and the latter had rewarded that faith by giving the BJP 71 out of the 80 Lok Sabha seats that were up for grabs. Two more seats went to a BJP ally, making it a grand total of 73.

Shah lashes out at Congress, urges NDA ministers to fulfill poll promises

New Delhi, Aug. 9 (ANI): Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) president Amit Shah lashed out at the Congress Party on Saturday, saying, the fact that it could not even become the principal opposition party in parliament, was not an ordinary happening, but a significant change hopefully for the better. Addressing a national council meeting of the BJP here, Shah said this year’s election result was a defeat of parties that indulge in vote-bank politics, and urged NDA ministers to remain focused on the promises made in the BJP’s manifesto. He also said that every sector requires a lot of work in the wake of the Congress Party’s decade-long mismanagement of policies.

The singer’s decision sparks speculation that she is planning to launch her own clothing line, reports contactmusic.com.

According to online site swaggernewyork.com, the R&B star, real name Robyn Rihanna Fenty, has laid claim to her last name by filing trademark documents that prevents another person using the name for clothing, lingerie, cosmetics and swimwear.
