To which he denied and later wrote his deeper thoughts in his blog, which read “We had a bit of a pow-wow this evening with one of the contestants from KBC, on this subject…she felt how on earth could celebrities, step out for a walk or walk into a store to buy daily provisions et al. She felt celebrities were special people with special demands and qualities and how would they ever fit into the daily chores and requirements of the common man.”
He further concluded writing “Well, all I can say is that celebrities, and I talk for myself if you may permit my immodesty, purely to be able to respond to the question, are indeed also very common people who have common needs and feelings and desires and attitudes.”
