Yesteryear’s heartthrob Shashi Kapoor’s condition is stable and he is likely to be discharged soon, said a source fromt he hospital.

“He is stable and he will be discharged in a day or two,” said a source while updating the 76-year-old’s health condition.

He was hospitalised on 21September at the Kokilaben Hospital due to chest infection.

His son Kunal Kapoor confirmed the same saying: “He is recovering and he is stable right now.”

Amit Singh Thakur has had a vast experience as an actor with shows like Yahaan Main Ghar Ghar Kheli, Shree, Kitani Mohabbat Hai, Punar Vivaah, Parivaar, Parichay to his credit. The man now helms administrative affairs at Shashi Sumeet Productions as the Head of Operations. Hollywood action star Arnold Schwarzenegger has thanked producer Aascar Ravichandran for his hospitality and making his Chennai visit “incredibly successful”. He also praised the filmmaker’s forthcoming Tamil romantic-thriller I as a “dynamic film”.

Schwarzenegger visited Chennai earlier this month for the audio launch of Vikram-starrer I.
