Jammu, Sept. 6 (ANI): Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh on Saturday said that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) will form the government in Delhi only if it is invited by the Lieutenant Governor Najeeb Jung, adding that his party does not believe in horse-trading. The BJP is the single largest party in Delhi, if we get an invitation then we will think about it. The BJP doesn’t believe in horse-trading,” he said. According to reports, Lieutenant Governor Najeeb Jung had sent a recommendation to the President to invite the BJP, which has the highest numbers in the Delhi Assembly, to form the government in the national capital.

New Delhi, Sept.6 (ANI): The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Saturday lashed out at Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) chief Arvind Kejriwal for casting aspersions on Lieutenant Governor Najeeb Jung, saying it will form the government in Delhi if it is invited. BJP General Secretary Rajiv Pratap Rudy said Kejriwal, who got an opportunity to run the government in Delhi along with the Congress support, quit after 49 days.

Shimla/Dharamsala, Sep 6 (IANS) Former Himachal Pradesh chief minister Prem Kumar Dhumal and his two sons, including Lok Sabha member Anurag Thakur, were Saturday summoned by a trial court in Dharamsala for alleged wrongdoing in allotment of land to the state’s cricket association. Eighteen people were formally charged April 25 with alleged wrongdoing in allotment of land to Anurag Thakur-administered Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association (HPCA) for constructing a plush residential complex for players near its stadium in Dharamsala. Official sources said Sanan and Sharma were posted in the revenue department and youth services and sports department, respectively, when the land was allotted to HPCA. The state government April 2 got sanction to initiate proceedings against Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Dhumal for allotment of land to HPCA led by his son, who is also the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) joint secretary, during his regime as chief minister (2008-12).

Suspended Trinamool Congress (TMC) Member of Parliament Kunal Ghosh has demanded that he should be jointly interrogated with West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee and Saradha scam kingpin Sudipta Sen. Ghosh had earlier alleged that the TMC top brass was aware of the Saradha group’s nefarious activities The Kolkata-based Saradha Group is said to have defrauded thousands of investors, including poor people, in West Bengal.
