If somebody is to think about the most busiest airports in the world, Dallas would definitely make its place among the top 5.

Dallas has two commercial airports: Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport (DFW) and Dallas Love Field (DAL). In addition, Dallas Executive Airport (formerly Redbird Airport), serves as a general aviation airport for the city, and Addison Airport functions similarly just outside the city limits in the suburb of Addison. Two more general aviation airports are located about 35 miles (56 km) north of Dallas in McKinney, and another two are located in Fort Worth, on the west side of the Metroplex. With all these airports in Dallas you could always see multiple planes in the sky.

DFW International Airport is larger than the island of Manhattan. It stands 3rd in world in terms of operation and 8th in world in terms of passengers. It has 7 runways and 155 gates. It serves 191 destinations and transports approximately 1,56,000 passengers daily. It has helped create 3,05,000 full time jobs.

The headquarters of American Airlines, the 3rd largest air carrier in the world is located less than a mile from DFW within the city limits of Fort Worth. Similarly, Love Field is located within the city limits of Dallas and is headquarters to Southwest Airlines, the largest domestic airline in the United States.
