If we think deeply about the root cause of corruption we would find that it is Selfishness. Yes all corrupt actions have selfish motives behind it. Till the time selfishness is there corruption would exist. Selfishness can be described as anything done for one’s personal interest by harming someone else’s interest.
The only way to get rid of corruption we can think of is to develop selflessness among the masses. When people would become selfless there would be no room for any corruption. This is where religious and spiritual organisations can play a great part and train people to develop selflessness.
Practically speaking corruption cannot be removed totally from the human society because selfishness arises out of ego and everyone has ego, which means everyone is selfish and corrupt.
