While Aamir Khan’s nude PK standee has not exactly made the moralists of our country lose sleep and protest vociferously, the situation would have been a tad different had a female actor posed similarly for a poster. In the past, we have seen multiple cases where actresses stripping onscreen have faced protest and even threats for shooting the so called ‘vulgar’ posters. Kareena Kapoor’s backless posters from Kurbaan faced some stiff resistance when it was made public. Strip queen Poonam Pandey has faced the wrath of moralists on many occasions.
